The Hong Kong boy group were performing at the Hong Kong Coliseum yesterday (28 July) as part of their MIRROR.WEARE concert series. The show was immediately halted and guests were urged to leave, as their manager Ahfa Wong took the stage to apologise. The remaining 8 concerts planned for the 12-show run have been cancelled following the accident.

The accident has caused public outcry from both in and out of Hong Kong, with many questioning why proper safety checks and measures were implemented by the concert organisers, Music Nation and MakerVille. The two companies released a joint statement following the incident, expressing concern for the injured performers and that they are launching an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

This comes as the latest accident to occur during MIRROR's concert series, after their member Frankie fell off the stage during their 26 July concert. This caused fans to start a petition asking for better safety measures at their concerts.

MIRROR is a 12-membered group formed through the talent show, King Maker in 2018. Since their debut, the 'Warrior' act have amassed international success with their distinct and dynamic sound.
